Day 64 Report

.Day 64- 29/7/07 - 40kms Closer to Tilpa

Steve's Report: Breakfast of bacon and eggs with David Bristow. Jonathan is looking after us pretty well. Pretty cloudy and cool but only 40km required to get to the camp site near the Idalia boundary fence. Was giving up on anything exciting when I got stuck on an aboriginal fish trap. A few kilometres on I was disappointed that a short cut shown on the map was actually about a metre above water. When I headed off around the loop I found another fish trap so that was a bit of a bonus.

It is great having David visit us and see what we are up to. I think he is enjoying the experience and we certainly like having him here as well as all the little presents he brought us. The sponsorship is not just about the money, it is great to have the stickers on the car, the logos on the web site and generally to just feel the support. I am extremely grateful to Simmonds and Bristow and the other supporters. On that note Dave Alexander, why don't you take a few days off next month and come and see us? KSB were our first sponsor and probably mainly because we have been mates for a long time, but I am hoping that I am giving you your money's worth.
